Hi, I’m Connie!

I’ve been an entrepreneur for eleven years.

I want female entrepreneurs to have a business that thrives, and that’s why I’m here.

Over the past 11 years, I’ve built and licensed a business model, bought and sold other businesses, experimented with direct sales, been an influencer & created and seen significant growth in my businesses using primarily online marketing efforts.

Prior to starting Modern Mama Inc. in 2008, I was a Software Engineer and Technical Support Specialist. I installed software and trained end-users, traveling all over the USA to County Courthouses.

I just recently sold Modern Mama Inc. where I grew and built it to 12 licensed cities at one time, print magazines in five cities, worked with hundreds of brands, helped those same brands with their influencer and blogger outreach, and attended plenty of media and press events. My highlights from an “influencer” standpoint were partnerships with big brands like McDonald’s Canada, Britax and Boiron. My favourite personal memories are the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration in 2014 when I got to bring my whole family with me to Disneyland and the summer of 2017 when Sunwing Vacations flew my family to the Dominican Republic for a week to film a promotional video and I documented the whole thing on my blog and social media.
