It’s almost here, 2020, and a new decade (Woah!)! So let’s get planning.
I get it. You want to plan for 2020 for your business but you’re not sure where to begin. I’ve got a step by step of what I’m doing this week to prepare for a new year (and a new decade, Woah!) to share with you:
1 – Create a new Digital Vision Board
I like to see my vision board every day, on my iPhone. So, last year I started creating digital vision boards right on my phone so it was easy for me to set it as my home and lock screen. Download my kit now to get step-by-step to do this on your mobile device so you see it multiple times per day. They say the average person picks up their mobile 58 times a day!

2 – Brain-dump Time
Do a brain-dump of every goal you’d like to achieve in the 2020 year and be sure to include business, personal, fitness goals as well. I use my notebook, but you could type them out, use a spreadsheet or Google docs, or even print them all out on a whiteboard.
A fun way to do this may be to grab a stack of sticky notes, write one goal per sticky, and then add them to your whiteboard in order of importance, and broken into the three categories: business, personal and fitness.
Number the list in order of priority or importance to you.
3 – Map out the First Quarter of the Year
Take your calendar (I like to use a desk blotter size for this, like this one) and plan out January through March.
Don’t go further than the first quarter, or it will get overwhelming, just have a general flow of the entire year in mind.
Take at minimum three of your big goals and list 3-5 things you will do in each of January, February, and March to reach those goals. It doesn’t have to mean you will achieve the entire goal but work towards them every day.
4 – Goal-based to-do Lists
As you make your monthly, weekly and daily to-do lists from now on, make the top three tasks on your list tied to a specific goal.
5 – Monthly Check-ins
Did you do what you said what you were going to do? If not, what needs to be carried forward? Get my worksheets kit now to keep these tips and use the worksheets.
